Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Plain-language summary: This AUP outlines what you may not do when using G4 Cloud services. You may not send spam, distribute malware, engage in phishing or fraud, infringe others’ rights, or use the service for illegal activity. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of G4 Cloud services (the “Service”) and applies to all users. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP.
2. Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Service to engage in, facilitate, or promote any of the following:
2.1 Illegal Activity
Any activity that violates applicable local, state, federal, or international law, regulation, or court order.
2.2 Spam and Unsolicited Communications
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) or unsolicited commercial messages
- Sending email to recipients who have not consented to receive communications
- Using the Service for email address harvesting or list scraping
- Falsifying email headers, transmission path information, or message metadata
2.3 Malware and Harmful Code
- Distributing viruses, worms, Trojan horses, ransomware, or other malicious code
- Using the Service to host or distribute malware, exploits, or attack tools
- Engaging in denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks
- Conducting port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or penetration testing without authorisation
2.4 Phishing and Fraud
- Creating or distributing phishing pages, links, or content designed to deceive users into disclosing sensitive information
- Impersonating G4, its employees, or any other person or entity
- Engaging in any form of fraud, including advance-fee fraud, lottery scams, or identity theft
2.5 Infringement
- Uploading, sharing, or distributing content that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property right
- Using the Service to circumvent DRM, access controls, or other technological protection measures
2.6 Abuse of Resources
- Using the Service in a way that causes or risks causing service degradation for other users
- Attempting to circumvent usage limits, billing mechanisms, or access controls
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Service except as permitted by law
2.7 Unauthorised Access
- Attempting to access accounts, systems, or networks without authorisation
- Sharing login credentials or access tokens with unauthorised persons
- Using automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) in a manner that violates the Service’s rate limits or terms
2.8 Cryptocurrency and Mining
- Using the Service for cryptocurrency mining, including mining, minting, staking, or transaction validation
- Running blockchain nodes or mining pools using G4 infrastructure
3. Content Standards
You are solely responsible for all content you upload, share, or transmit through the Service. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to use and share the content, that your content does not violate this AUP or applicable law, and that your content is not defamatory, obscene, harassing, or threatening.
4. Enforcement
4.1 Monitoring
G4 does not actively monitor all user content but reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP.
4.2 Reporting
If you become aware of a violation of this AUP, please report it to abuse@g4.business.
4.3 Actions
G4 may, in its sole discretion and without prior notice: issue a warning, remove or disable access to violating content, suspend or terminate access to the Service, bill Customer for costs incurred due to the violation, or report the violation to law enforcement authorities.
4.4 Repeat Violations
Repeated or egregious violations may result in permanent account termination without refund.

6. Changes
G4 may modify this AUP from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by email or in-product notification. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
